Our Curriculum
"Tell me and I forget.
Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn."
 - Benjamin Franklin
Taking advantage of the fact that children learn best when they’re actively engaged, our program is focused on academic readiness skills and is designed to teach critical concepts such as math, science, reading and writing through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities. We invite a variety of guest speakers and in-house activities to enhance each child's learning experience. Children who are ages 4 and older also enjoy educational theme related field trips!

We incorporate the award-winning "High Reach" curriculum, which promotes age-appropriate activities that stimulate music and movement, language, and self-help skills, and the "Frog Street" program. Frog Street Pre-K is a comprehensive, research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. The program is engaging for both teachers and children and is easy to implement!
The cornerstones of the program are:
An extensive integration of theme, disciplines, and domains
Social and Emotional development includes Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline ®
Differentiated instruction
Equity of English and Spanish materials and instruction
Joyful approach to learning

Our theme-based lesson plans are designed for each age group served, but the uniqueness and individual needs of each child are addressed. Throughout each unit, our goal is to make the theme come alive for your child. Our teachers keep a portfolio on each child throughout the school year with samples of their art work, writing, drawings, and photographs. Assessments are administered three times per year to ensure students are meeting Texas State Curriculum Guidelines.
