About Twin Oaks Private School
Our state-of-the-art center provides a secure learning and loving environment where children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
Philosophy
We believe each child is brilliant and unique with different needs, interest, and abilities.
Our dedicated teachers work diligently to satisfy and educate children in all four areas of development– social, emotional, intellectual and physical – because all areas of development are equally important in growing your little one into the gifted lifelong learner he or she is meant to be!
We provide developmentally appropriate curricula so each child can develop to his/her fullest potential. Fostering a caring, educational, and physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy and child-oriented is a top priority.

Health & Safety
We take extra precautions to ensure TOPS is a healthy and safe nurturing environment for every individual. Our toys are disinfected daily in addition to our nightly cleaning procedures. TOPS uses State Chemical products that are safe for children and hospital grad broad-spectrum disinfectant for preventing the spread of illnesses.

TOPS has a very strict Health Policy for illnesses or symptoms. A designated sick area is used for students who have symptoms that might be contagious, and illness logs and email notifications are used to communicate to parents any illnesses in the building.

All TOPS staff member are CPR and First Aid certified. Accident or Incidents reports are completed for all injuries that occur at our school. Parents are notified by phone for all head injuries or biting incidents. Minor reports will be sent via our Brightwheel digital app and by a hand written report upon arrival for pick up.

Your child’s safety is ensured through detailed security measures affecting every aspect of your child’s day – from our security-coded controlled access front entrance, new security classroom cameras and front desk monitors, to meticulous procedures regarding pick up time at the end of the day and everything in between!

TOPS conducts practice fire drills and carbon monoxide detector tests monthly. Our school also has severe weather drills and lock down drills 4 times a year. TOPS is a Texas State Licensing school that undergoes annual unannounced inspections.
Communication
We encourage parents to check the school monthly activity calendar and newsletter daily, or sign up for our FREE weekly email reminders, so that you can be informed of all your child’s activities. Important reminders are also posted as posters on classroom doors and are written on our dry erase board located in the drive thru lane.

Communication between parents and teachers is enhanced through informative Brightwheel digital daily reports. Infant and Toddler reports include specific information about feeding, napping and diaper changes as well as personal observations from the teachers about your precious little one. Parents of children in Explorers, Discovery and Journey programs receive information about feeding, napping, educational activities, and important reminders. Daily reports also include photos of your child throughout the day and sometimes even a special video clip! Our Brightwheel app allows parents to directly communicate with their child's teacher to ask questions or inform the teacher of other important information regarding their child.
